Steps

Description Temperature Time Note
List a series of proposals (free contributions), in order to collect the largest possible number of results
20-30 minutes
Process the results by applying filters
Focusing on a very rapid choice among many proposals, using appropriate filters
Choose the constraints and use a “Table of Constraints” to manage and summarize results
You choose constraints, because different solutions can be better compared with the characteristics and limitations of the system, rather than among themselves.
In the table listing the proposals in lines, constraints in the columns; a final column summarizes the compliance to constraints of each proposal with a logical AND
Analyze the proposals, proposals compatible with all constraints are kept; proposals that do not meet even one constraint are marked with ‘‘no’’ and rejected; proposals that have a dubious compatibility are marked with a ‘‘?’’ to be kept for further analysis.

Quality validation: Yes
