The second edition of the European QA Conference will be held in Nizza on 27 - 29 April 2016. The Conference will consist of plenary and specialized/interactive sessions, together with a large exhibition and poster area. Among the treated topics there are Quality Management Systems and Standards to Support Life Sciences. The qPMO network will be present with two meeting communications.  In the first one "A validated Quality Management System for a research lab" will be highlighted the experience matured at the laboratory MarLab (IBIM, CNR Palermo) which set up a Quality Management System based on ISO9001:2008 standard. In the second one, "An innovative Quality-based model for drafting scientific guidelines" will be presented the methodology developed by the IGB-IBBR working group of the CNR of Naples for the preparation of guidelines for scientific activities according to quality methodologies. A paper describing in detail the results obtained will be soon published on Accreditation and Quality Assurance journal.
