The CNR’s qPMO project returns to San Raffaele

Presentation of qPMO project findings during the course “Quality in biotechnology processes” in the Medical, Molecular and Cellular Biotechnologies Degree Course

The qPMO project returns to San Raffaele at 9.00 on 28 March 2014 to discuss experimentation with Quality models for research. Antonella Lanati, Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, will host the presentations of two qPMO project researchers from the CNR during her “Quality in biotechnology processes” course, as examples of how to apply Quality principles and methodologies in biomedical research.

Dr. Antonella Bongiovanni, Coordinator of the Research Unit of the IBIM at the CNR of Palermo, will describe the development and application of a Quality Management System in one of the first basic scientific research laboratories, the IBIM’s MarLab, which opened last December 9. Afterwards, Dr. Giovanna L. Liguori, Coordinator of the Research Unit of the IGB-IBBR at the CNR of Naples, will describe several examples of how Design of Experiment (DoE) can be applied to optimize and standardize experimental protocols in the field of biology
