Initiatives for innovation in Campania

On July 7, 2016, the seventh edition of TechnologyBIZ (TBIZ) "Vesuvius Valley" was held in Naples. This is an economic and technological initiative that promotes the Campania regional ecosystem. TBIZ, through stimulation of collaboration among operators of the territory focused on innovation, make possible the development of interactions between business, research and institutions. Thanks to its format, TBIZ has been a great success also this year with a large participation of universities, research Institutes, finance, start-ups, spin-offs, and companies. Participants at the meeting, had the opportunity to meet each other, to dicuss and interact.

The program took place in different areas of Palazzo Caracciolo. In the space of a evocative cloister organized for the event, the participants at the "business networking" had the opportunity to meet experts TBIZ and Very Important Top Officers (VITO) to establish new interactions and to know new collaborative business perspectives ; to use a corner for presentations to potential partners and investors; to do self-promotion through interviews with reporters and bloggers. Among the Main Events, the forum "Technology Districts, laboratories and public-private partnerships: updates on R&D in Campania", was very interesting with the participation of the sea-land MAR.TE. S.c.ar.l consortium; the consortium society, biotechnology and man health MAReA scarl; the Technological District for Life Sciences Campania Bioscience and the Institute of Applied Sciences and Intelligent System of the National Research Council. The speakers showed the projects and products of their collaborative activities with public research and private companies and were available for the whole day in the dedicated stands.
