Third InFormativa Day of the BioTTasa Project in Palermo
The InFormativa Days “From Research to Technology Transfer,” of the “Technology Transfer and Biotechnology Integration for Health, Food, and the Environment—BioTTasa” project continue. The meeting will be held in Palermo on 14 October at the Research Area of the CNR, Via Ugo La Malfa, in the Conference Hall. In particular, issues related to the fundamentals and methods of Technology Transfer, the creation of businesses with testimonials from start-ups, questions about innovation in industry and public-private cooperation will be addressed. Speakers include Dr. Annamaria Kisslinger, who will present the activities of the qPMO and the methodologies it has applied, with particular reference to those which can contribute to the promotion of the research results when they are transferred to and/or applied in fields other than research. In the area of research, the IBIM among others, has developed a line of activity in the qPMO that led to ISO 9001: 2008 certification of the MarLab laboratory, one of the first CNR laboratories certified in the research sector.
