The first InFormativa Day of the BioTTasa Project in Bari

From Research to Technology Transfer

The InFormativa Day, “From Research to Technology Transfer,” of the “Technology Transfer and Biotechnology Integration for Health, Food, and the Environment—BioTTasa” project will begin at 10.30 on 22 May 2014. The meeting will be in Bari at the Research Area of the CNR, Via G. Amendola, 122/O, in the Conference Hall. The aim of this event is to provide CNR researchers and technologists who are interested in the subject of Technology Transfer with a general picture of the opportunities available to them, with a particular focus in this first event on the area of the Bio-Agriculture/Food Industry. Thus, issues relating to following will be addressed: the legal protection of research results and development tools; the promotion of research at the local, national and international level; direct evidence of the creation of enterprises by incubators and start-ups; issues related to Quality; operating procedures and actions required by the business sector; CNR policies for the protection and promotion of research results. Speakers will include Dr. Annamaria Kisslinger, who will present the report “Technology Transfer: application of Quality methodologies for Research” which will showcase the work of qPMO and the methodologies it applies, with particular reference to those that may contribute to the enhancement of research results when they are transferred to and/or applied in areas other than research. These will include the application of certain experimental procedures related to Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
