The 2016 DiSBA annual Conference held from 24 to 25 October in Florence
The 2016 edition of the DiSBA annual Conference, “CLIMATE, AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SAFETY: AN EYE TO THE FUTURE " was held in Florence from 24 to 25 October. The Conference has been organized in collaboration with the Accademia dei Georgofili, in order to contribute to the World Food Day and highlight how the research activities of the Department will help to promote sustainable development.
The Conference was organized in two separate sessions:
- On Monday, 24 October, a debate and a discussion among some major speakers in the agro-food field from productive, cooperation, policy-makers and research sectors have been followed by two sessions in “Biosensoristica per l’Agricoltura 2.0” and Model systems. Further, to consolidate the collaboration between the National Research Council and the Georgofili Academy a Ceremony of Agreement Subscription between the two institutions was held.
- Tuesday, October 25 has been dedicated to more significant research activities of the Institutes belonging to the Department in the field of the event.
