The 16 th NETTAB Workshop in Rome: Reproducibility, standards and SOPs in bioinformatics

The qPMO network experience and models: quality management tools to improve research efficiency

The 16° NETTAB (International Workshop Series on Network Tools and Applications for Biology), co-organised by the EMBnet (The Global Bioinformatics Network) and the COST European Action CHARME,  was held in Rome from October 25 to October 26, 2016. Bioinformatics, biologists, computer scientists  presented methods, theoretical approaches, practical application, tools, platforms, and also discussed standardization strategies to increase efficiency and competitiveness of European Life-Science research. The qPMO presented its experience and results in the poster: The qPMO network:  quality management tools to improve research efficiency, reproducibility, data management and dissemination. The innovative approach of the qPMO project and the Quality management models developed by network aroused special interest among participants that has allowed to establish new contact and collaborations.
