“For Women in Science Award”, established in 1998 on the initiative of l’Oreal- UNESCO,  is the first award for women scientists. Since October 2002, L’Oreal Italian group, in partnership with National UNESCO Commission, has  been committed to support Italian researchers in their professional careers  through the L‘Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Italy fellowships program.

L’Oreal Italy Award, now in its 15th edition, has given to date 70 fellowships to as many scientists. This year will be given 6 individual fellowships of € 20.000,00 to  talented young women scientists to pursue promising research projects.

Researchers less than 35 years old, gained a master’s degree in Life Sciences, including Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science may submit an application exclusively online at www.forwomeninscience.com.

The deadline for the submission is 16th January 2017.
